July 4th, West Yellowstone has a 4th celebration with music in
the park, a Parade at 6:30, and Fireworks at 10 pm. We went to the parade
downtown and sat along Main St. with others to watch a hometown parade. Everyone
was in it, whether walking, riding or in a float. Everyone was having a good
time, after an hour it was over.
Back to the camper to rest. Then at 9:30 I
drove into town to find the location of the fireworks. Found a good spot one
block away next to a large parking lot. I got to see the locals set off
fireworks from the lot and also the middle of the street. There was some pretty
good ones. Then at 10 the real ones were set off for about 1/2 hour of great
shots of color and explosions of fireworks. Great Show .. Here are some pictures
of the day ..enjoy ..
God Bless...... AirstreamHobo & Mom
