July 30, While in Oklahoma City, I went to the National Cowboy and Historical Museum for the day. This place is huge and has lots to see. I saw art work in several hallways and rooms. Then I saw the cowboy rooms full of movie stars and many collections as a tribute to them, John Wayne, Roy & Dale Evans, Gene Autry, even Walter Brennan my favorite old cowboy character.
Then there were tributes to the rodeos and also the ranch cowboys. There is no way you can skip through this museum in short time, I was here for 6 hours just wandering and reading many plaques about cowboys. Here are a few pictures... https://picasaweb.google.com/AirstreamHobo/NationalCowboyWesternHeritageMuseum#
