March 11, 2015 We arrive at
Huntington Beach State Park in South Carolina, about 10 miles south of Myrtle Beach.
We stay at the park for 3 days at $36/night with water & electric. On the
grounds is an old mansion called Atalaya owned by the Huntington's, they were
artists and also sculptures of many statues. This is an all brick building was
artwork in itself. I enjoyed walking around the grounds and saw many rooms. Most
had fireplaces for heat. Being so close to the beach was perfect place to live
and relax.
